Auto Delete Student Portal Files

The Student Portal includes an auto-deletion feature, which helps to reduce storage usage / costs. This feature automatically removes course-related files, including:

  • Course documents.
  • Attachments for posts, assignments, and submissions.

When Are Files Deleted?

Files are deleted a set number of days after the course ends. You can customize this time frame to suit your needs.

How to Configure Auto-Deletion

To adjust auto-deletion settings:

  1. Go to Course > Configuration > Student Portal.
  2. Navigate to the "Enabling" tab.
  3. Set the desired number of days for file retention after a course ends.
